ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS every Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (started 10/11/07) at the Carpenters Union Hall, 1910 NW 53rd Ave., Gainesville, Florida, casual attire. The lessons are open to all dancers from all clubs and are ongoing. Dancers for this class should have a good working knowledge of Mainstream and Plus Levels before attempting Advanced Level dancing. |

| Dancing By Definition (DBD) |

Dancing By Definition is defined as: Where individual calls can be broken into their component parts, so that a call can be danced from any position on the floor, including dancing a call from a different starting position. In other words, Plus DBD is all of the calls you know and love, but often from new or different positions. A "dance by definition" club, is one where the members know how to do the moves from any position, not just gender-specific ones. Not all clubs or callers support DBD, but those dancers that have learned DBD are usually better dancers for the experience. |
